Virtually this happened before the lesson started. Usually I'd have to get to my lesson, tune up, plug in, dial in the amp, and my teacher would have to do the same. No wasting time with setup and breakdown. I found virtual lessons generally MORE productive for me (these were intermediate guitar lessons, though I already play violin and piano) for the following reasons: Random thoughts, with bold stuff being key for me.įor brand new learners who don't know much, it's probably harder, because a lot of basics are centered around how to best physically play an instrument, and that's tough to assess virtually.
